THE SMITHEREENS CELEBRATE 2010 THIRTY YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH D.C. FANS
The State Theatre in Falls Church, VA announces one-off event with The Smithereens
This Friday January 15th, legendary New Jersey rock quartet The Smithereens bring their classic wall of sound to The State Theatre in Falls Church.
But fans who attend the show won't just be hearing music, they'll be getting a special treat: a unique "fan-terview" session.
At 7:45, members of the band will chat live onstage with fans and discuss their 30th anniversary - the music, the influences, and the stories that have carried them thru three decades of rock and roll.
And to say thanks to fans, this special, one off event is FREE to ticketholders for The Smithereens' performance.
The band has no plans to do any other "fan-terviews" on their current tour, so if you love the Smithereens, you don't want to miss their gig this Friday January 15th at The State.
The Smithereens' most recent CD, their interpretation of The Who's seminal "Tommy" album, was released to wide acclaim in May of 2009.
